Documentary profiling the Ernie Richardson curling team from Regina, Saskatchewan, three-time provincial, four-time Canadian and three-time world champions. The team, comprised of brothers Ernie and Garnet "Sam" Richardson, their cousins Arnold and Wes Richardson, and Mel Perry, dominated the sport of curling from 1959 to 1964. Documentary profiling Gladys Arnold, a Saskatchewan-born journalist who was the only Canadian Press correspondent in France during the outbreak of World War II, and covered the conflict until she was forced to flee upon the German occupation of France in 1940. Arnold returned to Canada and was an activist for the Free French movement. Documentary profiling Joan Bamford Fletcher, originally from Regina, Saskatchewan. Fletcher, who as an officer of the First Aid Nursing Yeomanry (FANY) during World War II, coordinated the evacuation of 2000 Dutch internees from a camp in Sumatra in 1945. Television documentary examining youth suicide, including the factors that lead teens to contemplate suicide, and the events leading to and following the suicide attempt. Primary subject is David, who after attempting to commit suicide was able to turn his life around and is urging others to seek help rather that ending their lives. When aired on television, a live youth forum and panel discussion, hosted by journalist Ann Medina, preceded the documentary.
