This fonds consists of records created, accumulated and used from 1993 to 1995 by Bob Pringle in his political career as Minister of Social Services; MLA for Saskatoon Eastview-Haultain and Saskatoon Eastview; member of the Saskatchewan New Democratic Party (NDP); and member of the Saskatchewan NDP Caucus.

The Events/Appointments/Meetings series consists of three sub-series: 1993; 1994; and 1995. Pringle attended political, party, portfolio and Legislative Assembly events and meetings.

No sub-series have been assigned to the Speeches, MLA/Constituency and Political series.

The Speeches series consists of speeches accumulated by Pringle while in the Social Services portfolio. These include speeches given by Janice MacKinnon, Patricia Atkinson, Premier Roy Romanow and other NDP MLA's.

The records in the MLA/constituency series and Political series were separated out from the Minister of Social Services series by the archivist and described as distinct series.

The types of records included are correspondence, memoranda, legislation, newspaper clippings, news releases, reports, publications, photographs and an audio cassette.

The fonds includes records created by Janice MacKinnon and Pat Atkinson as Minister of Social Services.

The fonds is missing MLA/constituency material and records Pringle created as Minister Responsible for Seniors; Minister Responsible for Meewasin Valley Authority and Minister Responsible for Wanuskewin Heritage Park Corporation.
