Component is a series of news items concerning the Saskatchewan Archives Board (SAB): the retirement from the SAB of Frank Korvemaker (appraisal and acquisition archivist), the death of Douglas Bocking (former associate provincial archivist and editor of Saskatchewan History), the acquisition of the records of P.G. Downes, and a review of the Harvest Fair celebrations held in the Regina reading room. Pages also include corrections to information appearing in the spring/summer 2013 issue of Saskatchewan History.

Fred Sasakamoose : Free to choose

Item component consists of reminiscences by Arnold Isbister of the first time he watched Fred Sasakamoose play hockey, an exhibition game for the Sandy Lake Chiefs that was held in Debden, Saskatchewan.

Article is supplemented by colour and black and white reproductions of images from Fred Sasakamoose hockey cards and a black white picture of Fred Sasakamoose and his wife Loretta Isbister.

Lloydminster mayor pioneers crucial step toward Medicare

Item component is an article on medical care development in Lloydminster, in particular the efforts to establish and fund hospital care and the activities of councillor and later mayor D. G. Tuckwell.

Article is supplemented by photographs showing an early view of Lloydminster, the Lloydminster hospital in 1909, the new "union" hospital in Lloydminster (1917 or after), and D. G. Tuckwell with wife, son, daughter and two granddaughters.

The Socialist imprint on Saskatchewan politics

Item component is an article describing the development of and continued effect of socialist political thought and activities in Saskatchewan. The article draws upon information presented by earlier historians and describes various influences including from the British Labour Party, the Non-Partisan League in North Dakota, the composition of the immigrant population, religious movements, urbanization, gender, labour and economic conditions, and the structure of political institutions.
