Cover image is a photograph from 1916 that shows Tom Hall and Earl Anderson (from Regina) at Camp Hughes, military training camp in Manitoba. iMage was colourized by journal art director, Andrew Kaytor.

Inside front cover image shows Curt Campbell, manager of the Sasktchewan Archives' Preservation Management Unit and Digital Records Program, posing with the video exhibiton at the Sasaktchewan Legislature that was created to commemorate the start of the Great War. At a bottom of page is a black and white image from the exhibiton that shows men of the 46th Battalion embarking at Regina.

Back cover shows two images: top image is a portrait of soldiers from Oxbow, Saskatchewan (Bill Walsh, Mike Carey, Walter Merrel, and Big Wiggins) who were part of the 10th Amubulance Field Corps; bottom im age shows a tinted phograph of soldiers in a car.
