Farm Jubilee at Indian Head, August 19, 1955

This poster is about the Farm Jubilee at Indian Head that was held on August 19, 1955. This event includes the unveiling of a cairn honouring the pioneers of the Territorial Grain Growers, followed by a basket picnic at the experimental farm. Hon. J.G. Garner, Hon. T.C. Douglas, Hon. D.L. Campbell, and Hon. E.C. Manning were the speakers.

Field Day - Dominion Range Experiment Station

This poster includes information about the 6th annual Field Day at the Dominion Range Experiment Station in Manyberries, Alberta. It was held on Saturday, July 30, 1938. Speakers included: Hon. Geo. Spence, Director of P.F.R.A.; Jack Byers, Manager Western Stock Growers' Assoc.; E.E. Eisenhauer, Irrigation Specialist; and R. Painter, Entomological Specialist. Tours were offered and and a demonstration of rug making by Miss D.M. Hannaford. A lunch was served as well as sports and entertainment for the evening.

L.E. Reiman's auction sale, Amulet, May 6, 1948

This poster advertises an auction sale at L.E. Reiman's farm, located at NE 36-7-21-W2, a half mile east and a half mile south of Amulet. It was scheduled to be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 6, 1948 and was to include the sale of farm machinery and equipment, three cows, one sow, and some oat seed. Terms of the sale were cash. The auctioneer was W.J. Cleveland and the clerk was Ian Prentice. The poster was printed by The Mail Printers, Milestone, Sask.
