Melvin M. Upton interview transcript
Melvin M. Upton (born 1918) was born at Davidson and grew up at Forgan. He served in the Army in the Second World War and, upon returning, began work as a stonemason's and bricklayer's apprentice in Saskatoon. He also served in the bricklayers' and masons' union, the Saskatoon Building and Construction Trades Council, the Provincial Apprenticeship Board, the Labour Relations Board, and the Labour-Management Committee on the Construction Industry. Interviewed by D'Arcy Hande, January 16, 1976.
