Views of the signing of an agreement between the Saskatchewan Department of Natural Resources, represented by Hon. J. Ross Barrie, and the Last Oak Development Corporation which took place at Regina on April 1, 1971. The Last Oak Development Corporation was comprised of representatives from the Cowesses, Kahkewistahaw, Ochapawace, and Sakimay First Nations. The agreement proposed for the development of recreational facilities between Crooked Lake and Round Lake. Last Oak Development Corporation was to be responsible for the planning, design and construction of the project with consultation from an advisory committee appointed by the Department of Natural Resources.

An interview with Allan E. Blakeney, in Regina. This interview was conducted by Dennis Gruending for his book on Blakeney called, PROMISES TO KEEP. The Human Resources Development Agency and the relationship between natives and the government are discussed. Copied to ACD R-15547.
