Item is a mini-cassette audio recording that likely is a copy of the recording of the conversations between Rosalind John and Allan Noury (manager of Cal-Van Canus Camp Services Ltd concerning a claim/charge of physical abuse and harassment that Rosalind John was filing and counter-claims of slander and defamation which are found on Tape R-16002.

Item is an audio cassette recording made by Earle Mireau of telephone conversations (8 segments on side A).

Recording is labelled as a conversation between Judy Ryan of VRDP and Earle Mireau.

Side A begins with a conversation between Earle Mireau and Judy Ryan that examines his situation and potential for employment in fire fighting, alternative employment directions, how VRDP is administered by the federal and provincial governments, the appeal process of human rights complaints, and how Mr. Mireau's case has been handled by different government agencies and departments. Several incomplete (busy/no answer) telephone calls also appear on side A; including calls to Bob Andrew's office (looking for Ken Ritter), and Len Schell's office.

On side B of cassette are recordings of pop songs from a radio station that was counting down the top 100 songs of 1973.

#2 Conversation between Earle Mireau and Natalia Carrol, August 14, 1988

Item is an audio cassette recording made by Earle Mireau of a telephone conversation (2 segments on side A and 1 segment on side B).

Recording begins on side B with a phone conversation between Earle Mireau and Natalia Carrol concerning a fire prevention officer position he felt qualified for and the actions taken to gain employment in the Fire Commissioner's Office. In particular Mr. Mireau gives a description of his qualifications, why he feels he has been unjustly treated in past employment opportunities, and whether a training position can be created for him to take advantage of his re-training under VRDP. Also included in this discussion are Mr. Mireau's concerns with the competitive process for staffing positions (his status as an affirmative action candidate), the role of employment equity, and special circumstances under which a trainee could be hired. The recording of the conversation with Natalia Carrol continues to side A directly from the end of side B, whereupon it is followed by a vacuum cleaner demonstration.

[#6 Calls to Grant Schmidt's Office]

Item is an audio cassette recording made by Earle Mireau of eight (8) telephone conversations (4 per side).

On side A, recording includes Earle Mireau's incomplete calls to Grant Schmidt's office (asking for Len Schell, advised not in), Bob Andrew's office (it is not clear if call is cut-off at the time or was recorded over), and two more calls to Grant Schmidt's office looking for Len Schell.

Side B begins with a test message by Earle Mireau and is followed by two calls to the Premier's Office; the second of these calls Earle Mireau speaks with John Mackenzie about his employment/training situation. This discussion includes questioning as to how Earle Mireau could get the Premier to become involved and the status of his human rights complaint. The last phone call recorded on the tape is that of a conversation between Earle Mireau and a woman named Shannon [Bellamy] in which they discuss employment equity, the possibility of a training position being created for him, the structure of the fire commissioner's office, and the applicability of section 15 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms.

Item is an audio cassette recording made by Earle Mireau of telephone conversations.

Side A is a recording of Earle Mireau and an unknown woman named Diane in which they discuss access conditions to a child.

Side B contains a portion of a conversation between Earle Mireau and Shannon Bellamy (of Saskatchewan Environment and Public Service). This conversation discusses the affirmative action plan/employment equity arrangement between the Public Service Commission and the union, the impact Mr. Mireau believes Section 15 of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms and the VRDP act have to allow the Minister responsible to create an employment opportunity for him, and a summary of how he feels other government departments should handle VRDP claims.

Item is an audio cassette recording made by Earle Mireau of telephone conversations. Item has 5 segment on side B and 1 segment on side A

Recording begins on side B. First track is a conversation joined in progress and ends before completion of conversation between Earle Mireau and unknown male subject; the second track is a phone call by Earle Mireau to Judy Moore (who was unavailable a meeting), the third is a call to Peter Hillcroft (who was on another line) and the fourth is a call to the Office of the Premier for John Mackenzie (who was also in a meeting.) The fifth track is an incoming call to Earle Mireau from Peter Hillcroft (Department of Social Services). This conversation concerns Mr. Mireau's attempts to regain employment with the Fire Commission's office in some capacity. It examines the knowledge and skills Mr Mireau feels he could use to fulfill a role if given the opportunity, the background to his current situation, how his life is affected by the misrepresentation of his capabilities by certain individuals, the inaction by government departments to correct his employment status, the possibilities of alternative employment and the status of his human rights complaint.

Side A is a continuation of the conversation between Earle Mireau and Peter Hillcroft.
