Custodial history
Miriam Hoffer, daughter of Abram Hoffer, donated some of these records to the Saskatchewan Archives in one accession in 2009: 2009-694 (March 22, 2009).
Scope and content
This series consists mainly of incoming and outgoing correspondence between Abram Hoffer and various individuals, organizations and companies with whom he was associated. This association included physicians, scientists, pharmaceutical companies, journal editors and administrators, publishers, medical associations, research institutes, foundations, government agencies, politicians, and colleagues around the world. The files, which reflect the full range of Hoffer's research and medical interests, are arranged alphabetically by personal or corporate name.
A small volume of correspondence was answered by Frances Fuller, CEO of Orthomolecular Vitamin Information Centre Inc.
