Scope and content

Photographs relating to the Fee family, mainly Alonzo Martin Fee, his wife, Annie Mae (Bowers) Fee, and their children, William (Bill) Burdette Fee, Patricia (Pat) Fee (married name Patricia Peasley) and Kendall (Ken) Fee. Image numbers 1 to 14 relate to Bill Fee's activities as a squadron leader with the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF) during World War II. Bill Fee, the recipient of the Flying Cross, was born on May 14, 1918 in Swift Current, Saskatchewan and died in 2006 in White Rock, British Columbia. Images relating to the Bowers family of Neville, Saskatchewan are included.

Image no. 24 is a view of Swift Current with an oxen and wagon on Central Avenue heading south, 1909. Image nos. 46 to 48 relate to a fire in Swift Current, possibly in 1911. Image nos. 60 to 61 relate to Security Lumber Company in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. Image no. 62 shows the northern section of 11th Avenue in Swift Current. Image no. 84 shows members of a hockey team, including Bill Bowers, in Swift Current in 1911-12. Image nos. 116 and 117 shows the front and back of a man wearing a garment and hat advertising Security Lumber Company Limited.
