Carl A. O'Brien (1900-1976) was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. He came to Saskatoon in 1913. He spent his life working for Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (C.B.C.), the Department of Transport, and CFQC Radio as an engineer. O'Brien discusses early radio technology and the growth of radio broadcasting in Saskatoon. Recorded April 1976.

Carson Morrison (born 1902) grew up at File Hills, Saskatchewan, and graduated as a civil engineer from the University of Saskatchewan in 1925. Most of his career as an engineering consultant was spent in Ontario. Interviewed by A.M. Nicholson, 1975.
