William Roland Mitchell correspondence

Photocopies of correspondence from William Roland Mitchell to his parents on various subjects, including his arrival in Canada, hunting expedition to North-West and through the United States, and the Palliser expedition. Mitchell was a member of the Palliser Expidition that explored and surveyed western Canada between 1857 and 1860. File also includes transcriptions of the correspondence, created by Irene Spry.
