Cairn honouring Chief Justice W.M. Martin

Surveyors' Monument at Wascana Centre

Distant and close-up views of the Surveyors' Monument, located along the shore of Wascana Lake within Wascana Centre at Regina. The monument was designed by Jack Walker of the Wascana Centre Authority and sponsored by the Saskatchewan Land Surveyors Association. Its cairn was dedicated on March 29, 1968. The three sand castings on the walls of the monument were created by Ernie Scheer of the Wascana Centre Authority in 1967.
