Scope and content
(1): Photo postcard of the Royal Visit of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth to Regina City Hall, May 1939. Photographer: Butcher and Runnalls, Regina.
(2): Photo postcard of unidentified members of 18th Field Battery R.C.A. with cannons preparing for royal salute for arrival of Their Majesties at Legislative Building, Regina, May 25, 1939.
(3)-(16): Postcards of Regina, Saskatchewan, mainly showing the Saskatchewan Legislative Building, the University of Regina and the Regina City Hall at 2476 Victoria Avenue. Publishers of postcards where indicated include: Color Productions Ltd., Publicity and Information, University of Regina; and Canada Post.
(17)-(20): Postcards of Saskatoon, Saskatchewan including view of bridge in winter; an aerial view of the University of Saskatchewan campus; an aerial view of the city with University Bridge in the foreground; and Kiwanis Park with the Bessborough Hotel in the background. Three of the postcards are Traveltime products distributed by Prairie Crafts, Saskatoon. One postcard was published by Alex Wilson Publications Limited, Dryden, Ontario.
