Poetry published in early editions of western newspapers

Compilation of poetry which appeared in early editions of western newspapers, including: the Saskatchewan Herald; the Qu'Appelle Vidette and Indian Head Vidette; The Leader, Regina; the Prince Albert Times and Saskatchewan Times, and the Saskatchewan Directory, for the period 1878 to 1903. Compiled by a student of the University of Saskatchewan, Regina Campus. File includes handwritten and typescript transcriptions of the poems, as well as an index to the compilation.

Police reports, memoranda

Photocopies of various reports and memoranda created and/or accumulated by members of the North-West Mounted Police, Prince Albert Division (1892-1895) and the Saskatoon Division of the Saskatchewan Provincial Police (1920-1921). The Saskatchewan Provincial Police memoranda pertains to the enforcement of various provincial acts and legislation, including: The Theatres & Cinematographs Act; The School Attendance Act; The Liquor Exporters Taxation Act; The Hawkers and Peddlers Act; The Livery Stable Keepers Act; The Travelling Shows Act; and The Coroners' Act.
