Photocopies of newspaper articles and photographs relating to the country music career of Leslie B. Frost, also known as "Sleepy" and later "Frosty." Frost was part of the nationally known cowboy duo "Sleepy and Swede" with partner Nils "Suede" Nilsson. The duo performed in music halls and on the radio, and cut several records for the CBC between c.1935 and 1948, when they went their separate ways. Frost continued his musical career until his retirement in 1981.

Swedish Ballads Sung by Sleepy and Swede and two lithographed pictures of Sleepy and Swede. Sleepy was Leslie B. Frost and Swede was Nils Nilsson, a Swedish immigrant. They broadcast over various radio stations in Saskatchewan--in Saskatoon, Regina, Moose Jaw and Yorkton--and across the country. They were also popular music hall performers, and they cut several records for the CBC.
