According to information provided by the donor, Edwin P. Hadden farmed in the Melfort, Saskatchewan district before enlisting in World War One and serving in France. After the War, he served as Chief of Police in Melfort and in the late 1920s, he joined the police force of the Canadian National Railways (CNR) in Melville. In the late 1930s, he served with the police force in Saskatoon before moving to Calgary, Alberta and enlisting in World War Two.

Dominion Day celebrations in Wascana Centre

Views of Dominion Day celebrations held July 1, 1964 on the grounds of the Saskatchewan Legislative Building at Regina. Includes views of a military ceremony and "feu de joie" by the 10th Field Artillery Regiment, Royal Canadian Army, a performance from the Royal Canadian Horse Artillery band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, and a fireworks display over Wascana Lake.

Travellers' Day Parade, 1967; Regina Exhibition

Entries included floats, a flag corps, horse troops, and the Regina Lions Band. 21 to 22: A Buffalo Days display of Pemmican Pete riding a buffalo, on display on Scarth Street in downtown Regina to celebration and promote the Exhibition. 23 to 24: Outdoor booths and displays on the Exhibition grounds for the Regina Exhibition.
