Artwork of William George Reginald Hobbs

Photographs of paintings done by Dr. William G. Hobbs, a physician, surgeon and artist who resided in Gainsborough, Saskatchewan. The paintings were submitted to the Saskatchewan Olympics and the Arts Selection Committee for an art exhibition at the Olympics in Montreal, Quebec in 1976.

(1): Painting entitled The Journey (part of the Immigration - The Departure series).

(2): Painting entitled The Destination, showing the exterior of a two-storey building with Limerick written on the side. 1975.

(3): Painting entitled The Journey, with railroad tracks in the foreground and grain elevators and other buildings in the background.
