Records of Helmer Dormier including farming diaries, 1922-1962, and account books, 1941-1983. Domier emigrated from North Dakota in 1913 and began homesteading near Norquay in the following year. He continued to farm there until his retirement.

Diaries of Charles A. Zerfing (1890-1978), an American born in Iowa who farmed in the Wilcox, Saskatchewan area. The diaries date from January 2, 1929 to 1933 and from 1936 to August 15, 1939.

Zerfing was active in the Wilcox community and served as reeve of the Bratt's Lake Rural Municipality. He was also a member of the Prince Rupert Order of Odd Fellows Lodge.

Swedish-American Picnic

Item is an image of a Swedish-American picnic sponsored by the Mission Covenant, Baptist, and related religious groups under the leadership of John Erickson. Picnic held at Shallow Lake located northeast of Marchwell, Saskatchewan.

Sound recordings of oral history interviews with 62 individuals relating to their experiences as immigrants to Saskatchewan. Interviews were conducted by Sandra E. Bingaman for the Saskatchewan Department of Culture and Youth Towards a New Past Program entitled Ethnocultural Groups in Saskatchewan: The Americans. Textual documentation, including summaries, agreements, and transcripts for some of the interviews, is included.

The Andrew Gilbertsons

Item is a history by Dorothy Elliott (née Gilbertson) on the Gibertsons, a Norwegian family who arrived in the Frontier area of Saskatchewan in 1912 via the United States. History was prepared for the Gilbertson Reunion held at Frontier on July 3 and 4, 1976.
