Architectural Heritage Society of Saskatchewan
The Architectural Heritage Society of Saskatchewan Inc. was established in 1987 (as Saskatchewan Architectural Heritage Society) to promote and preserve the province’s architectural heritage; to educate and increase the public’s knowledge about Saskatchewan’s architectural heritage and encourage its preservation; to collect and disseminate information on Saskatchewan’s architectural heritage; to recognize those who conserve and promote architectural heritage through presentation of appropriate awards; and to offer and present grants that will assist in preserving architectural heritage. The Society published a periodical entitled "Worth" (previously "Facade" and "Heritage Quarterly") and administers the Lieutenant Governor of Saskatchewan Heritage Architecture Excellence Awards. The Society received funding from SaskCulture until 2014. As of 2022 AHSS is inactive.
